Aurum operate on both a retained and contingent basis. We cover permanent, contract and interim assignments from Associate through to MD / C-Suite level.

Justin is a Co-founder and Director of Aurum Search. Having started his career in New York, he returned to the UK and has been working in contingency recruitment for over 20 years – the majority of Justin’s expertise has been aligned to financial services, underpinned by technology.
Prior to establishing Aurum, he was the first employee of what became a highly recognised international recruitment agency, successfully growing top performing teams and managing FTSE 100 clients.
Justin specialises in operations and technology with a particular focus on programme management and delivery, business analysis and infrastructure.
When not at work Justin’s time is spent with his three boys or coaching at the local rugby club.
Marcus has over 18 years’ talent acquisition experience in leading recruitment organisations. As a Co-founder and Director of Aurum Search he maintains a strong track record of business development, managing client relationships, and delivery.
At Aurum Search, he operates across professional services, end user, and management consulting arenas, with an agnostic industry focus. Marcus has a deep understanding of the entire recruitment life cycle. He specialises in the disciplines of business transformation, performance improvement, project and programme delivery, and continues to work closely with both start-up and FTSE 500 clients.
Outside of work, he is happiest spending time with his two children. A retired triathlete, Marcus has a real passion for all sports and a keen interest in food and beer.
Bonnie graduated from Exeter University in 2013 with First Class honours in French and Italian, receiving a Dean’s commendation for high performance in her final year. After graduation she moved to Rome and began her career in the start-up arena.
Bonnie joined Aurum Search in 2015 as a Consultant working with both contract and permanent candidates across all Aurum’s market sectors.
In her spare time Bonnie enjoys open water swimming and extreme sports. She recently completed a Tough Mudder with friends and is now training for her next event.
Simon has over seventeen years’ experience with leading recruitment organisations and a fifteen year focus on strategy, transformation and change disciplines. He has a successful track record delivering to both blue-chips and emerging challenger brands across multiple industry verticals as well as recognised management consultancy firms. Simon is comfortable operating in a 360 role, simultaneously leading and mentoring successful teams, developing and managing long-term client relationships and proactively sourcing passive, best-in-market talent.
Outside of work Simon is an enthusiastic armchair sports fan, a keen gourmand and an avid reader of crime fiction.
Having attained 4-A levels, Jaber then graduated from Queen Mary University in Mechanical Engineering. Since graduation, Jaber has launched several companies of his own before moving into the recruitment industry.
Jaber joined Aurum Search in 2016 as a Consultant specialising in information and cyber security both on an interim and permanent basis.
An avid footballer, he has a keen interest and solid understanding in anything technical, spending most of his spare time following tech trends and learning about as many digital innovations as possible.
James held a variety of sales roles prior to joining Aurum Search in May 2016. Recently promoted to Consultant, James is focussed on sourcing the best in market passive talent with strategy, transformation and change expertise for management consultancies, boutiques and industry clients with a particular interest in challenger banks and digital disruption.
Outside of work James spends most of his free time renovating his new home.
