Justin is a Co-founder and Director of Aurum Search. Having started his career in New York, he returned to the UK and has been working in contingency recruitment for over 20 years – the majority of Justin’s expertise has been aligned to financial services, underpinned by technology.
Prior to establishing Aurum, he was the first employee of what became a highly recognised international recruitment agency, successfully growing top performing teams and managing FTSE 100 clients.
Justin specialises in operations and technology with a particular focus on programme management and delivery, business analysis and infrastructure.
When not at work Justin’s time is spent with his three boys or coaching at the local rugby club.
Marcus has over 18 years’ talent acquisition experience in leading recruitment organisations. As a Co-founder and Director of Aurum Search he maintains a strong track record of business development, managing client relationships, and delivery.
At Aurum Search, he operates across professional services, end user, and management consulting arenas, with an agnostic industry focus. Marcus has a deep understanding of the entire recruitment life cycle. He specialises in the disciplines of business transformation, performance improvement, project and programme delivery, and continues to work closely with both start-up and FTSE 500 clients.
Outside of work, he is happiest spending time with his two children. A retired triathlete, Marcus has a real passion for all sports and a keen interest in food and beer.
Simon has over seventeen years’ experience with leading recruitment organisations and a fifteen year focus on strategy, transformation and change disciplines. He has a successful track record delivering to both blue-chips and emerging challenger brands across multiple industry verticals as well as recognised management consultancy firms. Simon is comfortable operating in a 360 role, simultaneously leading and mentoring successful teams, developing and managing long-term client relationships and proactively sourcing passive, best-in-market talent.
Outside of work Simon is an enthusiastic armchair sports fan, a keen gourmand and an avid reader of crime fiction.
Tara spent her gap year in Ghana, working for a Banking and Management Consultancy before graduating in Sociology and Business Psychology from the University of Manchester.
A keen foodie, Tara is a regular attendee at London’s food markets, sourcing ingredients and seeking culinary inspiration. To counter her gastronomic adventures she ‘enjoys’ Bikram Yoga and has recently taken up rock-climbing.
Tara joined Aurum in 2018 to source the best in market talent, with a particular focus on the digital economy and strategy & transformation.
Joe joined Aurum Search in 2018 to add breadth to the company’s Financial Services business. After several years running clubs and concerts in Vancouver, Joe returned to the UK in 1998 and embarked on a recruitment career, initially specialising in Java and C++ development. In 2003 he switched focus to investment management and hedge fund recruitment and has remained engaged with this market ever since. Joe’s track record extends across equities, fixed income, rates, commodities and FX, placing portfolio managers, traders, analysts, commercial functions, support and control staff. Joe was a Partner in Concilium Finance between 2005 – 2016.
When not at work Joe can mostly be found on the beach with his wife and son in Whitstable or as a keen home cook, exploring Kent looking for the best raw ingredients for his infamous ‘all year round’ barbecues.
Since being knee high, Joe has been a passionate follower of motorsports including F1 and rallying
After serving in the military, Caicy went on to hold several management positions within multi-national businesses. This included significant exposure to merger and acquisitions, operations and talent acquisition.
In 2017 Caicy joined Aurum as a Consultant to focus on building the digital transformation and innovation capability with a particular interest in the RPA, Cognitive Learning and AI technologies.
Outside of the office, Caicy enjoys socialising and Olympic Lifting and also takes an active interest in technological and scientific innovations.
A passionate people-person, Joana joined Aurum Search in 2018. With her ability to speak five languages, Joana leads the expansion of our corporate finance and technology client relationships internationally.
A keen traveller with a degree in International Relations (and a Master’s in Project Management) she has an ability to build and establish relationships quickly.
When not in the office Joana is a keen and active sportswoman, an aspiring guitarist and a talented amateur photographer.
Meekesh holds two bachelors degrees from The University of Sheffield in Biomedical Science and Clinical Sciences. During his time at Sheffield, he worked for the University in pastoral care, mentoring and the recruitment of new Medical Students.
Born and raised in London, he returned to cut his teeth on the recruitment of healthcare professionals before joining Aurum in 2017. As a Consultant at Aurum, he works a range of roles within Aurum’s key accounts with a particular interest in data.
Outside of the office, Meekesh can be found on a hockey astro, cricket square (off-spin), competing in eSports or putting his military background to good use completing endurance events.
Patrick joined us in 2018 having graduated from Brunel University with a First Class BSc(Hons) in Business Computing. He brings to Aurum an industry experience within software engineering, data analysis, business analysis and project management from a placement year at GE Healthcare. He specializes in sourcing best-in-market technology professionals, globally, for FTSE100 blue-chips, challenger brands, market disruptors and digital innovators with a focus on algorithmic trading, data science and software engineering.
When he isn’t mapping out the technology market, he is busy learning Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu and aikido or training for the Aurum Tough Mudder. Patrick’s commission is mostly spent attending music festivals throughout the world – EDC, Mystery land, ASOT, Hard Summer – to name a few or travelling adventures to the US and Europe.
